The funeral of Mrs. Catherine [Katherine] M. Avery, who died at her home, 2208 South Harwood Street, Tuesday, will be held from the residence to Oakland Cemetery at 2 o'clock this afternoon, under the auspices of the Knights and Ladies of Honor and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Avery was born in Canada Jan. 1, 1857. She came to Texas in 1879. She was the mother of the late Clarence H. Avery, a druggist of Dallas. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Patterson, and two grandchildren, Katherine Patterson and Horace Avery. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
