DIED--Mrs. Mina Brown, widow of Frank Brown, died at the home of her son, Harry, on August 13, 1927, aged 77 years. Her funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon, at the home of her son where she died, services being conducted by her pastor, Rev. B. L. Lyon, of the M.E. church of Candor of which she had been a faithful member. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Arthur of Spencer, Harry of this place, and one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Teeter of Endfield and six grandchildren; Harold, Melvin and Kenneth Brown. Esther Brown and James and Arthur Teeter, besides several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. The many and beautiful floral pieces spoke of the high esteem in which Mrs. Brown was held. Friends and relatives were present from Cortland, Ithaca, Owego, Endicott, Swartwood, Danby, Binghamton and Halsey Valley. Burial was made in Maple Grove Cemetery.
