Word was received here Tuesday morning, by Mrs. Ray Meyer, of the death of her brother, Arthur Burnett Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona, following a long illness. Art, formerly of Le Center, was 59 years of age.
Funeral services are pending.
Mr. and Mrs. Burnett, had spent the month of May last year, here at the Meyer's home, while visiting relatives in the area. After leaving Le Center, they operated a drive in at Lakefield, Minn., before moving to Phoenix.
Surviving are his wife, Emm; a son, Richard; and a daughter, Shirley Kline, also of Phoenix, Ariz.; his mother, Mrs. Arthur Burnett Sr. of Colonial Manor, Waterville; two brothers: Donald of St. Peter, and Melvin of Albert Lea; and his two sisters: Mrs. Wm. (Marie) Pelant of Montgomery, and Mrs. Raymond (Gloria) Meyer, route one Madison Lake.
