He was a coal miner and a Protestant.
He is survived by one brother, Russell Burns, and two sister, Linnie Clark and Myrtle Dalton, all of
Grafton Road.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cloe Mamie Burns, four brothers, Walter Burns, Luther Burns, Clarence Burns, Charles Burns; four sisters, Bertha Reber, Ollie Howell, Elizabeth Burns and
Gracie Pearl Burns.
Friend may call at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, with the Rev. Charles Yoke officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
