Julia E. Macek, 90, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Southwest Hospital, Middleburg Heights.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Susan Bursa. She married George Lakatos in May 1938. He passed away in 1965. She married Robert Macek in October 1972. He also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sons, Tom Lakatos and wife Marilyn of Maple Heights, Ohio, and George Lakatos of Denton, Texas; her daughters, Carol Dawkins of North Port, Fl. and Rosemary Costello and her husband Tom of Urbana; her sister, Agnes Hayes of Brooklyn, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a grandchild.
