J.K. BUSCOMBE DEAD
Well Known Calgarian Died After Brief Illness From Pleurisy

One of the best known young men in Calgary passed away at his residence yesterday afternoon in the person of John Kerron Buscombe, of the firm of Graham & Buscombe, undertakers.
The late Mr. Buscombe had been in Calgary nearly ten years, coming here from Hamilton, where he had been engaged in the undertaking business. He went into partnership with A. Graham, shortly after coming west. He was very popular and was a member of the Calgary baseball team that won the championship of the west. The was the year of 1904.
He was married about five years ago, and besides his wife he leaves one child, a little girl of four.
Death came rather suddenly, as Mr. Buscombe was only taken ill last Saturday with pleurisy. The case was not considered serious, and it was only yesterday that his condition became dangerous, and despite the best efforts of his physician he passed away about 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
