Celebration of Life Mrs. Kathleen Moore Bush, born February 20, 1938 in Eden Mississippi. A beloved Mother and Grand- mother was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2009. Mrs. Bush was born to the late Ike Moore, Sr. and Willie Mae Rogers Moore the fifth youngest of 14 children. She was a teenager when she moved to Danbury and completed her high school education at Danbury High School. It was in Danbury where she met and married her late husband Charles Bush. Mrs. Bush was employed for a number of years at the Benrus Watch Corporation and the Sperry Products Company, but retired from the Amphenol Corporation after many years of service. She was a longtime member of New Bethel Church of God in Christ where she became a Senior Church Mother and a Trustee. She was the mother of six children, and one daughter Rose Marie Bush preceded her in death. She loved God and God's people and often opened her home and heart to anyone in need. To cherish her memory are three daughters: Mrs. Deborah Bush Copper of Waterbury, Ms. Hattie Bush of Danbury, Mrs. Patricia Bush James of Bristol; two sons: Nathaniel Bush of New Britain; Jeffery Bush of New York; six granddaughters: Quanesha Copper, Marlena Copper, Charmara Bush, all of Waterbury, Shannon Bush of New Britain, Taylor James of Bristol, Katriel Bush of New Jersey; two grandsons: Charles Bush of Danbury; Charneil Bush of Waterbury; one great granddaughter: Jaden Bush and one great grandson: Seth-fon Copper, both of Waterbury; one daughter-in-law: Maria Bush of New York; two goddaughters: Letha Smith Holmes and Brenda Crews both of Danbury; one godson: Cornell Newsome of Danbury; two sisters: Flora Rogers and Ethel Newsome both of Danbury; two sisters-in-law: Missionary Mamie Bush and Reverend Annette Bush: four brothers-in-law: William Rogers, Sr., Joush Newsome, Sr., Jerry Bush, Sr. and Reverend Rubin Bush, Sr. all of Danbury. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed and remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009 at New Bethel Church of God in Christ, 26 Liberty Street in Danbury . Officiating will be Pastor Elder Henry N. White, Sr. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. Arrangements: Hull Funeral Home of Danbury.
