1st Sgt. Kenneth Bustamante USMC (Ret.) 51, Avondale/Tuba City Az., started his journey in heaven on April 4, 2008. He was a Phoenix native. He is proceded in death by his Grandparents Henry and Adeline Carrillo and his Father Pete A. Bustamante. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Felis Bustamante, his Daughters Adelina Bustamante, Felicia Muenster-Ho and Christina DeFrancia. His Mother Theresa Bustamante, Brothers: Greg Bustamante and Edward Navarro, Sisters: Buckwheat (Rebecca Romero) and Ceko (Carol Coronado) and several nephews and nieces. He was active duty in the Marine Corps for 21 years 7 months and 5 days retiring in 1994. He became a JROTC instructor at Tolleson Union High School, continued on at Westview High School and finished at Tuba City High School. He had many accomplishments throughout his career, receiving decorative achievements while in the Corps for his service. He also excelled as a Drill team coach, winning 18 State Championships and 3 National Championships, for the JROTC Drill Teams. He will be truly missed by his family, his students and the people that he inspired everyday. Semper Fi Marine.
