Victor "Vic" D. Buzinski, 78, Wausau, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at his home.

He was born April 10, 1933, in Weston, son of the late Frank and Erma (Staadt) Buzinski. On March 15, 1958, he married Arlene Luepke in Waubasha, Minn. She survives.

Vic was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Man of Honor, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Burns Post No. 388, Wausau, and the American Legion Montgomery Plant Post No. 10, Wausau. For many years, he worked as a manager for Central Storage and Warehouse, Wausau, until his retirement.

Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed golfing and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and Green Bay Packers fan.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Buzinski, Wausau; two children, Bruce (Kathy) Kleinschmidt, Helena, Mont., and Cheryl (Charles) Gassner, Wausau; four grandchildren, Shannon (Seth) Lancaster, Craig (Charity) Zaleski, Tracey (Scott) Schneider, and Sonya (Jose) Vargas; 12 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Mary Buzinski, Colby, Gordie (Carol) Buzinski, Rothschild, and Joyce (Norm) Howe, Wausau; and one son-in-law, Alan Zaleski, Stratford.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Zaleski; one brother, Bob Buzinski; and one sister, Helen Buzinski.

Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine, with full military honors conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wausau.

Suggested edit: From what I understand Victor dropped the "R" in Burzinski for whatever reason. I got this from his niece. Also Read Irma's obit...his mother and you can see Victor is mentioned as her child. So those are his parents.
