Death of Mrs. W. W. Benson
Mrs. Rebecca Adelina, wife of W.W. Benson of Vanderpool. Highland county Va., died at the State hospital at Staunton, Va.. Friday evening Nov. 23rd 1894 in the 50th year of her age. Mrs. Benson was the daughter Dr. James H. Byrd deceased, and at the age of 17 years was united in marriage with W. W. Benson on be 30th day of May 1855.
Died in Staunton from paralysis. Age 56 years. Parents Jas. H. & Alice Byrd. Born Bath County. Consort of W.W. Benson. Death reported by W.W. Benson. P. 190 Death Records of Highland.
