L. Sue Cadell Adams, 90, of Waco, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015, in a local care center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Parkview Baptist Church with Dr. James G. Adams and Dr. John W. Collier officiating. Burial will follow in Gholson Cemetery.

Lanell Sue was born in San Marcos, Texas, to the late William O. Cadell and Allie Kay (Bennett) Cadell. She graduated from in 1942 from Waco High School and attended Durham Business College. Sue married Ralph Adams in 1950. Sue received Christ as her personal Savior in 1958 and became a longtime, dedicated and faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church. She worked as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell and also worked as an office clerk at Texas Employment Commission retiring in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Adams; son, William Fletcher Adams; and brother, Woodrow O. Cadell.

Survivors include her children: Patricia Moody and husband, James Kenneth, Lou Kent, Ronnie Adams and wife, Judy, and Stephen Adams and wife, Tiwanna, all of Waco; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, James Adams; other relatives and many friends.
