She was born on September 30, 1925 in Appleton IL to Amos and Georgian (Cozad) Cadwell. She married Lyle Custer on May 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1966. She then married Thomas L. Anderson. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1998.
Survivors include four sons, Don (and Glenda) Custer, Fred (and Sharon) Custer, Ron (and Kathy) Custer, all of Galesburg, IL and Jack (and Debbie) Davis of Marshall, MO; three daughters, Frances (and Pete) Siebert of Antioch, IL, Millie (and Jack) Anderson and Edith (and Ed) Whiting, both of Galesburg, IL; three brothers, Bill Cadwell and Don Cadwell, both of Marshall, MO and Jack (and Wilma) Cadwell of Galesburg, IL; two sisters, Grace (and Loyld) Boughton of Galesburg, IL and Kathryn (and James) Holloway, both of Galesburg, IL; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.
She worked at Benny’s and the Dixie Cream Donut Shop. She attended the Covenant Church and participated in the InTouch program.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday December 19, 2001 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Thomas L. Ek officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to Gordon Behrent’s Senior Center.
