She was born near Cincinnati Landing on Nov. 25, 1924, to Virgil "Curly" and Nettie Nixon Smith. She married William Cadwell on April 30, 1945, and he preceded her in death June 30, 2010.
Anna was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church of Griggsville.
She loved gardening, which she kept doing her whole life. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and especially loved to visit with Kylin and Brynlee McQuay, her two local great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her 2 sons, a daughter, a sister, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded death by her husband; two brothers, Lester and Victor Smith; and two sisters, Cleta DeWees and Betty June Harris.
