A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Guilford Memorial Park.
Edythe was born Jan. 16, 1927, in Guilford County. She had been a resident of Tallahassee, Fla., for the past 20 years. She was a member of Tallahasee Heights United Methodist Church and was part of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a son, Skip Burnside (Bonnie) of Tallahassee, Fla.; two sisters, Lois Mildred Ivey of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Norma Jean Marshall of Leesburg, Fla.; four brothers, Dale Hugheston Caine of Granada Hills, Calif., John Robert Caine of Tuscaloosa, Ala., David Walker Caine of Wilmington and Donald Ray Caine of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Kristopher Lewis Burnside, Kelly Lee Ann Burnside, Kasey Taylor Burnside and Kalin Cain Burnside; and a great-grandson Lance Clark Sellars.
