Stella Anna Cairns Baker was born to William Charles and Mary Amanda James Cairns in Harrisonville, IL. She met and married Bush Word Baker in Big Spring, TX. They were married in Sept. 18, 1900. To this union were born five children, Blanche, Frederick, Ralph, Anson and Allan. After traveling back and forth from El Paso, TX and AZ, they finally settled in Clifton, AZ. Clifton is where she lived the remainder of her life.
