OSCAR CALHOUN

Funeral services for Oscar Calhoun, 79, of Princeton, who died Sunday afternoon in a McKinney nursing home were held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Blue Ridge First Baptist Church with Rev. Peck Williams officiating.
Interment was in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Fileder-Baker of Blue Ridge in charge.

He was born Oct. 25, 1899 in Blue Ridge, the son of William and Sarah F.Calhoun. He was a Baptist. He married Rosa Lee Driggers, Nov. 6, 1920 in Blue Ridge. Survivors include his wife, of Princeton; one son, Darvis Calhoun of Rowlett; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Langham, and Mrs. Mae Smith of Blue Ridge, Mrs. Eula Thacker of Wolfe City.
