Mrs. Bell died on November 3, 1909, at the age of 57. She had suffered a lingering illness. Mrs. Bell was survived by her husband, Dr. T.J. Bell; children: Reverand James L. Bell, Dallas; Mrs. Boss Prestwood, Tyler; Dr. Gid Bell, Tyler; Mr. DeWitt Bell, Tyler; two sisters and two brothers. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
