Burial will be in Shankeville Cemetery in Newton County.
Mrs. Adams died October 7, 2010.
She was born April 22, 1936, in Wiergate to Obie and Gertrude Calhoun.
Survivors include husband of 57 years, Nathaniel Adams of Wiergate, sons, Charles, Michael, Vernor and Richard, daughters, Kristle and Robert Mewes, Winona, Nettie, Matlene, Glenda, Sharon and Yolanda, nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
