She received her education from Pacific High School.
On June 15, 1984, she was united in marriage to Gene Adney in Clayton.
Mrs. Adney was a member of St. Bridget's Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Adney is survived by her husband, Gene Adney, Wildwood; one son, Fred Gerlach, Wildwood; other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Sept. 30, at St. Bridget's Church, Pacific, with the Rev. John Keenoy officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. John's Hospice are preferred.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
