Brenda M. Campbell, age 70, beloved wife of Edward F. Campbell for 43 years, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lavelle Beauregard, Brenda resided in Stratford for 20 years and was a retired supervisor from Emson Research. A member of Bower Post 1466 Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, she enjoyed to read and crochet. In addition to her husband Edward, Brenda is survived by her son, Russell Atkins; her daughter, Lee Ann Atkins. She was also a mother to her half brothers, David Beauregard and Donald Derby; two brothers, Jack Beauregard and Jerry Lavelle; one sister, Linda Anjesky; several nieces and nephews; her favorite niece, Leslie; five grandchildren, Philip and Russell Atkins, Mark, Matthew and Amy Falanga; five stepgrandchildren, Donald, Christa, Katy, Savana and Eddy. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Charles Beauregard, Brian Beauregard and Mary Ryan. Friends are invited to attend a her funeral service on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Sunday from 3 to7p.m.
