MRS. DELIA CAMPBELL

Final rites for Mrs. Delia Mae Snuffer Campbell, 87, of Crab Orchard, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Crab Orchard Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Glen Sage officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.

She died Sunday in a local hospital following a short illness.

A lifelong resident of Crab Orchard, she was born Aug. 11, 1883, the daughter of the late Sparrel and Susan Snuffer.

Her husband, James A. Campbell, and a daughter, Ethel, preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Jarrett and Mrs. Ruby Gallimore, both of Crab Orchard, Mrs. Virginia Langford, Washington, and Mrs. Helen Moody, Baltimore, Md.; four sons, Basil and Weldon, both of Mullens, Reo, MacArthur, and James A. Campbell, Jr., Beckley; a brother, Ira Snuffer, Coal City, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Scott, Ohio; 39 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.

The body is at Calfee Funeral Home where friends may call after 4 p.m. It will be taken to the church one hour prior to funeral services.

Pallbearers will be Wayne and Dean Jarrett, Larry, Jim, Tom, and Basil Campbell Jr.
