According to an article in the March 29, 1956 Raleigh Register newspaper, Glenn died on tuesday March 27, 1956 in a Baltimore Hospital. The body was brought back to the home of his maternal grandparents, Mr & Mrs John F. Kennedy of MacArthur for visitation. Funeral services were held at the Brethren Church. In addition to his parents and maternal grandparents, Glenn is survived by one brother, Gary Lee Campbell of Baltimore, and paternal grandmother Della Campbell of Crab Orchard.
