Mayflower Descendant of John Alden and Pricilla Mullins through her mothers maternal line.

Practical Nurse. Married William Murdock at Niagra Falls on 14 Jul 1920. Her marriage wasn't legal, as William was already married and had a child with his 1st wife Lulu. She found out on his deathbed where he confessed, falling ill from an appendix rupture and passing away when Ruth was pregnant with their 2nd daughter. She gave birth one week later. Ruth stayed living with his mother in Herkimer, NY until her own mother passed away, then moved back to Agawam, MA with her daughters Althea and Thelma in 1926. She lived and worked at New England Keswick Bible Camp for 40 years in the Berkshires (Now HUME New England). She was the cook. The owner, John Vershon, was older and he got along great with her. Once he died, unfortunately, they let Althea go. She loved it there.
She outlived both her parents and all 5 of her siblings. After living with crippling arthritis, Ruth passed away from heart failure and a stroke.
