Janet L. Bennett, 77, of St. Albans, died on May 9, 2004, at Thomas Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born Feb. 7, 1927, at Clendenin, the daughter of the late Harless and Rose Campbell. She was a homemaker and loved birds and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Layton L. Bennett; and son, Layton R. Bennett. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Chuck Totten of Kent, Wash.; two grandchildren, Chris and Scott Totten; four great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Caitlin, Aidan and Makayla.
