Addie Gertrude Arnold, 70, died May 14, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Calhoun county Aug. 17, 1884, a daughter of Harvey and Addie Samples Campbell.
She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist church, near Minnora.
Surviving are five daughters, Noma, Mrs. William B. Woody , and Mrs. D. B. Kimble, and four sons, Doy, Denver, Lester and Melvin.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Arnold.
Final rites were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday from the Bethlehem Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Morrison, the Rev. Ray Bartlett and Rev. Foster Tuttle were the officiating ministers.
