ALEXANDER, Jessie Ray age 83 of Dayton passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009. She was born December 11, 1925 in Wheeling, MO to the late David Eugene & Roxy Ellen (Mayo) Canfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Alexander in 1995. Jessie is survived by her daughter, Betsy (Ken) Selm of Bellbrook and her son, Dr Stanley (Ruth Anne) Alexander of Lebanon; three brothers, Willard, Herman, and Richard Canfield all of IN; four grandchildren: Daniel, Paul, James and Anna. She worked many years as a food handler at Fairmont East and was a longtime member of Belmont United Methodist Church. Funeral service 2 pm Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Belmont United Methodist Church, 2701 S Smithville Rd, Dayton. Pastor Julia Roat-Abla officiating. Final Resting Place Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call 1 pm Sunday till time of service at the church. Arrangements in care of Tobias (Belmont).
