Benjamin Franklin Cantrill, 65, of Vine Grove, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at his home.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lockwood and Sallie Cantrill; and a brother, Scotty Cantrill.

He is survived by two daughters, Robyn Cantrill Jiles of Louisville and Peggy Cantrill of Vine Grove; a brother, Jerry Cantrill and his wife, Sherry, of Piqua, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tyler Mason, Raven Caldwell, Mahailey Cleaver, Jada Jiles and Ciara Lamb; a sister-in-law, Kay Cantrill of Sidney, Ohio; the mother of his children, Sharon Cantrill of Vine Grove; a special friend, Betty Johnson of Vine Grove; and nieces and nephews.

A committal service is at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff with Brother Les Bullock officiating. Burial follows with military honors.

Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff is in charge of arrangements.
