Her mother was shown to be the housekeeper.
In 1900, Minnie Banner, aged 26, was living in Scranton, Pa., with her husband, Joseph Banner, aged 32, and children, J. Renton Banner, aged 4, and Dorothy May Banner, aged seven months. Her husband was shown to be a draughtsman.
In 1910, Minnie Banner, aged 36, was living on Thorn Street, Brookhaven, NY, with her husband, Joseph Banner, aged 42, and children, Renton Banner, 14, and Dorothy Banner, aged 10. Her husband was shown to be a draftsman at a factory.
In 1920, Minnie Banner, aged 46, was living on Jennings Avenue, Patchogue, NY, with her husband, Joseph Banner, aged 52, and children, Dorothy, aged 20, and Joseph R. Banner, aged 24. Her husband was shown to be a draughtsman at the lace mill.
Obituary - Mrs. Minnie Banner, 78, of 139 North Ocean Avenue, Patchogue, died suddenly Monday night at her home.
She was born in Yorkshire, England, and came to Patchogue 52 years ago. She was the widow of the late Joseph Banner.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Renton Banner of Bay Shore; a daughter, Mrs. Lynn G. Barnes of Minneapolis, Minn.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Robert Owen and Mrs. Lillian Butler, both of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; one half-brother, William Bowman, also of Wilkes-Barre, and two grandchildren.
The body will repose at the Pettit Funeral Home until 11 a.m. tomorrow, when services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal church, the Rev. Domenic K. Ciannella officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
