Went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2013. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she has lived in Washington Twp. for 40 years.
Mrs. Bauer was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Glassboro, the Multiple Myeloma Support Group and she enjoyed knitting blankets for the Linus Foundation. She truly enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of Carl G. Bauer. Devoted mother of Carl Bauer, Lynn Peggs (William), Kimberly Tyler (Bruce) and Colin Bauer (Patricia). Dear sister of Dolly Zeitlin (Leonard), the late Barbara Kohn and the late Ronald Capone (the late Frada). Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 60 State Street, Glassboro, NJ, where Pastor Larry Oksten will conduct a service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Wenonah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
