Ann "Annie" Busby Kinley of 4935 Highway 145, Carnesville, Georgia died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Carey was born in Franklin County, Ga., September 17, 1930, daughter of the late Johnny B. Busby and the late Louise LeCroy Busby. She was a retired seamstress having worked with Oxford Manufacturing, formerly Quality Sewn Products. Mrs. Carey was twice married, first to the late Luther Clark Kinley, second to the late Thomas Junior "Jake" Carey.
Survivors Include: Daughters; Patricia K. Carlisle Royston, Ga. Joan K. Carey Royston, Ga.; Grandchildren: Rodney Carey, Wayne Carey, William Roach, Matthew Carlisle and Angela Segel; Great-Grandchildren: Jessica Carey and McKenna Segel; Brother: Joe Busby Lavonia, Ga.; Sisters: Reba Ayers Seneca, SC. Rose Beck Royston, Ga., Linda Merck Seneca, SC., Rachel Batey Dahlonega, Ga.
Preceded in death by: Brothers: James, Bernice and Winfred Busby; Sister: Christine Bagwell.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carey will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd West officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-SOUTH.
The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, Ga. where the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon till Funeral Hour Saturday Afternoon. The family is at their respective homes.
