Vera is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Edward S. Carola of Danbury and her children, Edward J. Carola and his wife Betsy of New Milford and Judy Veripapa of Danbury. Adored by her grandchildren, Vera leaves behind Pam, Chris, Tom, and Michael and her great-grandchild, Alexander as well as several sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street Danbury on Sunday March 10th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield, CT on Monday, March 11th at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice and Homecare of Western CT, 405 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
