Mrs. Carr, a native of LeRoy, N.Y., and the widow of D. C. Carr, had retired from a New York dress company. She was the creator and author of her husband's Santa Claus radio program, which aired on WTAR. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a son, Jack E. Carr of Hampton; and two grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Hugh E. White. Memorial donations may be made to the church's altar guild. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
