IN TRAIN COLLISION
DALLAS, July 24. - A.V. CARROLL, 35, was instantly killed yesterday morning when the Texas & Pacific west bound mail train No. 3 crashed in a rear-end collision with a freight train near Orphans' Home. Carroll was a fireman on the passenger train. The dead man lived at Longview Junction.
