CHESAPEAKE - Fannie Lois Skinner Carr, 88, of the 4300 block of Cornick Ave., died March 1, 2002, in a local nursing home.
A native of Cottondale, Fla., Mrs. Carr was retired from Giant Open Air Markets and the widow of Linwood J. Carr. She was a member of Congregational Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Wallace of Bon Air, Va., and Betty Lynne Cameron of Pinehurst, N.C.; two sisters, Issie Boekley of Moyock, N.C., and Indy Oeland of San Diego, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, the Rev. Linwood L. Carr II and two daughters, Linda Rae Carr and Donna R. Summers.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Monday from 2 to 4 p.m.
