Suddenly, at her residence near Rushville, in Rockingham county, April 6th, 1882, Mrs. Jehilah A. Arey, relict of John Arey, dec'd, aged 77 years, 3 mo., and 17 days.
This estimable lady was for many years a member of the New Erection Presbyterian Church. She was greatly esteemed for her noble character. She lived a widow 35 years and reared her family of four daughter and four sons most successfully. Her decease is sincerely mourned. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." W.T.P.
