Virginia Agosto, 71, of Hartford, died Thursday, (June 28, 2001) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born December 12, 1929 in Cidra, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Carmen Chevere and Ramon Carrillo. She lived in Hartford since 1959.
She is survived by six children, Ramon, Jose, Angel, Carmen, Heriberto, and Frankie; three sisters, Blanca, Ima, and Ada; a brother, Gilberto; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five daughters-in-law; a son-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and many other relatives and friends, locally and in Puerto Rico.
Calling hours are Sunday, 6-9 p.m., at the Gennaro J. Capobianco-Greater Hartford Funeral Home, 247 Washington St., Hartford. Funeral will be Monday, 9 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral procession to Our Lady of Sorrows Church, New Park Avenue, Hartford, for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass.
