Annie Laura Carroll, 87, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2015, after a short illness following a broken hip. She was born on March 4, 1928 in Irondale, AL, of James and Alma Nolan, youngest of six children.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James E. Carroll (Gene). One daughter, Sharyn Collier (Charles) of Collierville, TN, one son, Mike Carroll (Connie) of Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Kim Wallace (Michael), Laurie Burnett (Lee) all of Wetumpka, AL, Missie Mendoza (Ventura) of Albany, GA, and Mickey Carroll (Melissa) of Clarkesville, GA, and 12 great grandchildren.

Annie Laura was a faithful member of Collierville United Methodist Church and was active in many organizations within the church. She loved her time singing in the choir. She was also a member of the Heritage Club of Germantown and belonged to several bridge groups because of her love of the game.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive from 10:30 a.m. until the service time at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery located on Hacks Cross Rd. Memorials may be made to Collierville United Methodist Church.
