Wilma Jean Adkins, 79 of LaFollette passed away Aug. 16 in Rutledge. She loved her grandkids and loved to fish.
Wilma was preceded in death by son, Roy Yancey; parents, James and Ida Ward Carroll; husbands, Arnold Chavis and Richard Adkins.
Wilma is survived by sons, Maynard, Bill and Scotty Adkins of LaFollette, Jerry Chavis of LaFollette, Bobby Chavis of Jacksboro, Jimmy Chavis of Knoxville; daughters, Gertrude Williams and Jackie Bryant of Rutledge, Sue Richardson of Harrodsburg, KY; 32 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. on Aug. 18 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Dale Baker officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. on Aug. 19 in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
