Served during the Vietnam War while stationed in Korea with the US Army.
He grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1970. After the war he earned a bachelor degree in Science from the University of New Hampshire, then took classes at M.I.T., Northeastern, and other college classes after graduation.
Mr. Carson loved computers and technology. He worked with M.I.T. in Cambridge as a Technical Engineer, maintaining their computer systems. He later worked as a Supervisor with TSA at Logan Airport in Boston before retiring. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed being out in nature while fishing. He enjoyed rock music, especially Led Zeppelin.
He is survived by his wife Kim Carson of Chelmsford, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
