Funeral for Mrs. Mary M. Bates, 94, of Jellico, formerly of Fonde, Ky., who died Saturday at Jellico Community Hospital, was Tuesday at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. George Buchanan officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene Alexander of Jacksboro and Miss Virginia Bates of Jellico; a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Virginia Gilreath of Jellico; and two great-grandchildren, Jimmy Lon Gilreath and Miss Lori Ann Gilreath, both of Jellico.
Ellison Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.
