Elizabeth Fay Bann, age 78, of Pace, FL, went to be with God on Wednesday, August 29, 2007.
She was born in Liverpool, England on August 27, 1929 to Edwin Carter and Muriel Hunt Carter.
She graduated from Westwood Private High School in Liverpool, England and Melvin Funk Real Estate Institute in Pennsauken, NJ. She was employed by West & Mosier Realty, B.F. Cook Realty Co., and McGuire Air Force Base Aero Club. She moved to Pace Florida in July of 2004.
She is predeceased by her parents and her sister–Pauline P. Carter.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years–Raymond L. Bann; her daughter–Elizabeth C. Tyrrell (husband Terry) of England; her son–Peter Bann of Pensacola, FL; 6 Grandchildren–Pandora Tyrrell, Trevor Tyrrell, Christopher Bann, Phillip Bann, Denalyn Bann, and Andrew Bann, and 2 Great –Granddaughters–Violet Tyrrell and Adele Bann.
Visitation will be Monday, September 3, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Donnie Sowell Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family members.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), 2121 K Street, N.W. Suite 650 Washington, D.C. 20037.
