Mrs. Bush was a native of Holmes County having been born there and the daughter of the late George Harvey and Dannie Erie Lucas Carter. She attended school in Bonifay until the ninth grade, and graduated from Poplar Springs High School in 1959. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith. Mrs. Bush died at her home following an extended illness. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Sidney C. Bush of Graceville; two sisters, Katie M. Booth of Bethlehem, Jo Ann Haddock and husband Donald of Vernon. Graveside funeral services were held October 22nd at the cemetery with Dr. E. W. "Bud" Ware and the Rev. Addis Habbard officiating. James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville was in charge of arrangements.
