Annie M. Boyett, 90, of Panama City, Florida passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at her home.

Annie worked with the Bay County School system in the 1950's. She worked at the Wainwright Shipyard during WWII.

She was a lifelong Member of First Pentecostal Church and served as a pianist for many years. She served as a church youth leader and longtime Sunday school teacher and ladies auxiliary leader.

Annie is survived by her husband of 71 years Harvey B. Boyett, two daughters Annie Jean Cole (Richard), Pat Phillips (Kenneth), two brothers Wilfred Carter, Lonnie Carter, Jr., four sisters-in-law, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by son Harvey Boyett, Jr., her parents Lonnie and Rannie Carter, two brothers James and Roland Carter and one sister-in-law Emily Roche.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Allen Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
