Bales, Velma, age 86 of Kettering passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Earl Bales; parents, William & Dolly Carter; 1 brother and 1 sister.
She is survived by her daughter, J. Marie Bales; son, Frankie (Marilon) Bales; sister, Wanda Renell Smiley; grandchildren, Jeremy Falletta, Angela (Falletta) Ferguson, Meredith (Bales) Smith; great-grandchildren Jaron Ferguson & Carter Smith; and beloved nieces & nephews.
The funeral will begin with an Eastern Star Service at noon, Friday, May 18, at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. The family will received friends 11 am to 12 pm before the services. Interment at Valley View Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.morris-sons.com
