Rebecca Allison, widow of the late John Allison, died in Walnut township Tuesday at an advanced age. She was the mother of W.B. Allison, of this township.

She was the daughter of John and Mary (Lehr) Carter. She and John Allison, son of Benjamin & Rachel Allison were married January 3, 1815 in Gallia County by Robert Armstrong.
