Bertie Evelyn Andrews, 84, of Dover died on Nov. 13, at Clarksville Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover with the Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Burial will be in Fort Donelson National Cemetery in Dover.

Visitation will continue until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 18, 1910, Stewart County, the daughter of Silas Bert Carter and Mary Jane Parker. She was the widow of Thomas E. Andrews. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of Taylor Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Thomas E. Andrews Jr. of Dover; three daughters, Sarah Sills, Anna Berry and Mary Emma Barnes, all of Dover; two sisters, Jane Riggins Tift and Blanche Carter Jordan, both of Bossier City, LA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Andrews, Thomas E. Andrews III, Jason Sills, Mason Sills, Todd A. Barnes and Lee Drouwell.
