HAZELL CARTER AKERS, 80, of Memphis, homemaker, died Wednesday at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Roller Family Funeral Home with burial in Memory Hill Gardens.
She was a member of Range Hills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Akers, the widow of Clifford Akers, leaves a daughter, Reva Akers Pampuro of Bartlett; a son, M. Duane Akers of Memphis; a sister, Myrtle Hass of Clinchport, Va., three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Methodist Healthcare Alliance Hospice.
