Emma C. Gale Bartlett of Corpus Christy, Texas, Palm Springs, California, and Incline Village, Nevada, died peacefully at her home in Corpus Christi July 14, 2000. She was a Methodist and born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma on Sept. 29, 1903 to Oliver Reynolds Carter and Frances Adell Simmons Carter.... She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; sisters, Betty Carter Lynn Anderson, Anna Mildred Pinnell, Marguerite "Margie" Lewis and Carolyn "Honey" Gaskin; brothers, Riley Carter and Reese Carter; husbands, Frank Sadler, Benjamin Tilset Gale and Rex Bartlett. Aunt Emma is survived by five nieces;.... two nephews;.... many loving great-nieces and nephews;... (a number of friends listed).

Funeral: 3 p.m. 17 July 2000 Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel (Corpus Christi), Rev. Bobbi Kaye Jones of Grace United Methodist church officiating. Also 19 July 2000 at the Little Church of the Flowers at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. Entombment will follow in the Sanctuary of Gratitude...
