Barbara Ammons Cartwright Born November 19, 1949, the third child of Norman and Willie Mae Ammons in Vaiden, MS. She made her transition November 6, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital. She was retired from Quantum. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Willie Mae Ammons; her husband, Bennie Cartwright; and her great grandson, Julius Aaron Rogers Jr. (Man-Man). She leaves to cherish her passing one son, Jermaine Ammons; four daughters, Nancy Cartwright, Tonya (Darryl-deceased) Chandler, Twanette (Charles Jr.) Jones, and Onreesha Ammons; six grandchildren, Janarl (Ericka) Cartwright, Jannice, Joseph, and Jonathan Barefield, Lucreesha and Charmaine Cartwright all of Joliet, IL; 3 brothers, William (Catherine-deceased), Melvin (Anita) Ammons Sr., and Ronnie Hamilton all of Joliet, IL; 5 sisters Dorothy (Clarence) Moore of Douglasville, GA, Geraldine (Eugene-deceased) Clark, Ann (Orlando) Knight of Joliet, IL, Marilyn Ammons of Chicago, IL and Maomi Hamilton of Joliet, IL and a host of family. Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2010 6-8 pm at the funeral home and Tuesday, November 16, 2010 9-11 am at All Nations C.O.G.I.C., 503 S Water St Joliet, IL Service at 11 am, Bishop Robert R.
