Obituary of Albert Casanova Sr:

Albert Casanova Sr, 79, of 2225 26th St. SW, died Nov 23. A native of Indianapolis, Ind., he was an Akron resident for 60 years. He was a retired employee of BF Goodrich with 35 years service. He was a veteran of WWI, a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the South Akron Eagles, the Goodrich 20-year Club, the Goodrich Local 5 URWA, Voiture 468 40 Et8, and past commander of Firestone Memorial Post 449 American Legion. He is survived by sons Albert Jr., and James, of Akron, Thomas, of Barberton; daughters, Mrs. Ray (Virginia) Drexler, of Manchester, and Mrs. James (Eleanor) Mason, of Inman, SC.; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation TODAY, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Schlup Funeral Chapel, Kenmore Blvd. at Eighth St. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 16 St. at Battle Ave. Burial at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery in Doylestown, with graveside military rites by Firestone Post 3383 VFW.
